About the Competition

The University Talents Competition is one of the accompanying events within the First International Forum for Talent in Higher Education. It aims to discover and refine students' talents in various fields. It is a unique platform that allows students to showcase their abilities and present their talents before an audience of specialists and judges, providing them with an excellent opportunity for development and distinction.

Eligible Participants

All university students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Competition Tracks

1- Theater and Acting

Description: The talent of acting performance, whether a monologue or a short scene reflecting the applicant's abilities in expression and dialogue.

What the initial video should show: A short and clear acting performance (monologue or part of a scene) showcasing your vocal and physical expression skills.

2- Public Speaking and Recitation

Description: The ability to deliver an impactful speech or poem, focusing on strength of delivery, language accuracy, and the ability to capture the audience’s attention.

What the initial video should show: Deliver a speech excerpt or poem of your choice, focusing on clear voice and confident performance.

3- Simultaneous Interpretation

Description: Simultaneously interpreting a spoken dialogue or text from English into Arabic accurately and fluently.

What the initial video should show: Interpretation of a short audio or dialogue excerpt from English into Arabic, highlighting speed and accuracy.

4- Drawing

Description: The talent of drawing in various forms, whether oil, watercolor, or others.

What the initial video should show: A quick showcase of a previous artwork or part of a live drawing process, with a brief explanation of your technique or concept.

5- Mathematical Skills

Description: The ability to perform complex mathematical operations quickly and accurately.

What the initial video should show: Demonstrating your ability to solve a puzzle or mental challenge in a short time, with a simplified explanation of your thinking process.

6- Thinking and Puzzle-Solving Skills

Description: The ability to solve complex puzzles and riddles creatively.

What the initial video should show: Demonstrating your ability to solve a puzzle or mental challenge in a short time, with a simplified explanation of your thinking process.

7- Freestyle Football Skills

Description: Mastery in controlling a football or any other ball with high skill and innovative freestyle techniques.

What the initial video should show: A short freestyle performance with the ball highlighting your individual and technical skills.

8- Balance and Acrobatics

Description: The ability to perform acrobatic or show movements requiring high balance and flexibility.

What the initial video should show: A segment demonstrating your balance or acrobatic skills that reflect your physical abilities.

Timeline

  • Competition Launch: 10-08-2025
  • Registration Deadline: 16-08-2025
  • First Screening Results Announcement: 18-08-2025
  • Live Performance: 03 & 04-09-2025
  • Final Results Announcement: 04-09-2025

Participation Rules

  • The applicant must be a regular student in a diploma or bachelor's program.
  • Participation must not conflict with religious regulations, public morals, and the cultural values of the society and university.
  • Participation must be individual.
  • An initial video of no more than 60 seconds must be submitted upon registration.
  • The contestant must commit to participating in all competition stages.
  • The committee reserves the right to disqualify any participant in case of violating the rules or absence.
  • Participants are responsible for providing all tools and materials needed for their performance.
  • The university reserves the right to record and publish performances as part of the competition events.
  • The university does not cover travel, accommodation, or any other expenses if the participant qualifies for the final on-site stages.
